Get ready for the imminent arrival of the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra, which will be available between now and the end of the year at Dilawri GM. The Sierra has been the third-best-selling vehicle in Canada, and the 2019 model promises to continue the trend with its athletic design and numerous innovations, especially when it comes to the powertrain, cabin and bed. With its rugged appearance and muscular stance, this truck reprises the square proportions of the 2018 model, but in a more dynamic, contemporary version. Sitting behind the wheel of the 2019 GMC Sierra means feeling like the king (or queen) of the road!
Do you have big jobs to perform? The 2019 GMC Sierra will get them done! From a step that’s built in to the rear bumper to a 110-volt power outlet in the bed, the 2019 Sierra offers not only well-thought-out details, but also a few never-before-seen features, like the MultiPro tailgate and the CarbonPro bed. The standard MultiPro tailgate with six different positions features two load stops to keep cargo from sliding out when the tailgate is open, an inner gate with work surface, easy access when loading and unloading, and a full-width step. The CarbonPro bed is made of carbon-fiber, reducing the weight of the vehicle by about 62 lb, while offering incredible resistance to scratches and corrosion. GMC is the only truck manufacturer to offer this option!
The 2019 GMC Sierra boasts improved versions of its 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8 engines. The latter is paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission, which also accompanies the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine. All of the powertrains will feature Dynamic Fuel Management, which can deactivate between one and seven cylinders, and Start/Stop, two systems that translate into significant savings at the pump.
The cabin of the 2019 GMC Sierra is now equipped with the latest version of the GMC IntelliLink infotainment system, previously introduced in the 2018 GMC Terrain. An assortment of cameras will give the driver a hand when connecting a trailer, not to mention the new ProGrade Trailering System with Trailering App, which includes a light test, maintenance reminders, electrical diagnostics, tire pressure check and more.
